In 2014, Inca Tea “TeaEO” and Founder Ryan Florio hiked a treacherous Peruvian mountain trail with his friends and the help of a Sherpa, who introduced them to an amazing Ancient Tea recipe combining boiling water, freshly cut apples and Purple Corn, which the Peruvians consider a super food. After drinking the tea, they began feeling rejuvenated, and Ryan, a scrappy entrepreneur at heart, saw a wonderful opportunity. Upon Ryan’s return home to the U.S., he quit his job and started a company called Inca Tea, the first U.S. company to use the ingredient Purple Corn.
All Inca Tea products are made with Peruvian Purple Corn, which is significant source of powerful antioxidants and anthocyanins that have several healing properties, including cell regeneration, reduction of joint inflammation and blood pressure, and helps fight obesity and diabetes. It has also been shown in significant studies to reduce cancer cells, and has more antioxidants than blueberries and acai berry combined.
Inca Tea offers only all-natural, gluten-free and hand-blended products with no preservatives and no genetically modified organisms. All Inca Teas are Fair Trade and certified by the Ethical Tea Partnership, Rainforest Alliance and Non-GMO Project. Visit www.IncaTea.com for more info.
